I have developed and collaborated on a range of workshops exploring electronics, especially e-textiles. In some sessions participants created experimental analog circuits using thermochromatic ink, simple LEDs, or vibration motors, as well as more digital workshops introducing the basics of physical computing and programming with Arduino and various sensors and components. I’ve also mentored student projects that grew out of these sessions.
Rooted in a xenofeminist philosophy, these workshops aim to empower participants to appropriate technological tools for their own purposes. By combining textile crafting techniques with electronics, participants can engage with the fundamentals of electrical engineering in a playful and accessible way, easing apprehension toward technology and fostering hands-on understanding.
